Homework Help Club
The Homework Help Club provides students with the opportunity to obtain assistance with homework and practice basic skills. Students who may not need help but simply a place to work are also welcome.
Starting the Thursday, September 13 the tutoring schedule is:
Tuesday through Friday 7:15 – 7:45 AM in room E3 with Mr. Anderson
Monday and Thursday 3:15 – 4:20 PM see Ms Uchida in M2 to sign up
Monday - Thursday lunch time TBA
When possible a student will be assigned to a teacher based on grade level and the academic subject he/she needs the most assistance with. For example, 6th grade math/science students will be with one teacher while 8th grade math/science will be with another teacher.
Students participating in the after school program are to be in their assigned classroom and signed in by 3:15 PM. Students are not required to attend every day tutoring is offered. Also, a student’s first day may be any day tutoring is offered throughout the semester – just see Ms Uchida on or before the first day.
If a student will be picked up by a parent that student may leave when her/his ride arrives otherwise students must remain in the classroom until dismissal time – 4:20 PM. Students riding the late bus or who will wait for parent pick-up will be walked to the gym area by a teacher.
All Revere students are welcome to come to Homework Help Club however, the program may not be able to offer assistance with Geometry at this time – check with Ms Uchida.
If you have any questions please leave a message and phone number for Ms Uchida, 310-917-4800.
